Swiss Alpine Chalets is part of Alpine Apartments Agency, which was started about 20 years ago by Zigi Davenport specialising in selling and building properties throughout the French Alps and along the Swiss and Italian Borders.
Swiss Laws are different from France and vary from Canton to Canton so in 2005 it was decided to expand the agency into Switzerland with a colleague Monique Vrins.
Zigi Davenport with her husband Peter, lives in England and visits the region every month with her own chalets in Les Portes du Soleil close to the Swiss border.
Monique who speaks, English, French, Dutch & German has worked in real estate in the region for about 15 years. Monique like Zigi, has also overseen the building of many individual chalets and houses for clients.
The Swiss specialist department specialises in locating properties for clients, and working closely with developers and builders for new properties especially within an easy radius of Geneva airport, around the Lake and in the mountain Ski Resorts.
We have good contacts with Notaires and Swiss Banks for loans and accounts and our service can include a full interior design and ‘hand holding’ from the beginning of your search to completion and if necessary into the future! For absent buyers we will oversee your building project and advise as and when necessary.
